Special Olympics Sports Competitions & Events
Special Olympics sports competitions are based on the idea that athletes of all abilities should be given an equal chance of succeeding, Special Olympics uses a system of ‘divisioning’ that is almost unique in the sporting world. Divisioning groups enables athletes to compete against people of the same ability, giving people of all abilities opportunities for success and achievement.
